As a new parent in late 2008, Kim began to seek natural remedies as a way to treat minor medical issues with her newborn daughter. As she embarked on this journey of learning, Kim also started to see a Naturopathic Doctor, Chiropractor, and use natural remedies, becoming more and more in-touch with the world of alternative medicine. A realization of this incredible growing phenomenon, it's popularity and respect of the field lead Kim to the idea for an online natural directory to assist others with finding these local services within their community.
People today are becoming more aware of the need to take care of their bodies, mind and spirit, without the use of traditional medical procedures and medicines. Traditional medical treatments often involve taking pharmaceutical drugs with many side effects, often leading to even more prescriptions to counteract the effects of the initial drug. It can be a vicious cycle and one that can be very hard on the human body.
The body is an amazing thing, and given the chance it can perform miracles with little assistance. However, we need to treat our bodies as temples as we are only given one per lifetime.
